Every time I look at this series, my heart swells with a mix of nostalgia and gratitude. These images capture not just love, but moments of genuine connection and boundless joy. This laurel forest in Fanal, Madeira, is a treasure trove of memories. The first time I set foot here a 2018, it was like stepping into another world. The ancient trees whispered tales of centuries past, and the mist hung in the air, cloaking everything in mystery. I knew, right then, that this place held a special spot in my heart, eventhough it was pouring rain and we were soaking wet back then, but I fell in love with this environment immediately.

So, when the opportunity arose to bring my dear friends back here, to blend their story right into the heart of this enchanting forest, I couldn't believe my luck. Two years later, amidst the same towering trees, we laughed, we danced, and I captured their love in every frame.
