In March 2021, amidst the challenges of lockdown, this couple chose to celebrate their love with an intimate wedding. Almost like an elopement. They kept it simple. It was just the two of them at the registry office, without any guests. In fact, photographers weren’t even allowed inside to document the ceremony during this time.

On the other hand, those restrictions gave us something unexpected: time. After their ceremony, we took advantage of the quieter streets of Hamburg. Iconic locations like Landungsbrücken, the Rathaus, and the Alsterarkaden felt completely different without the usual crowds. This intimate wedding is a perfect example of how even small celebrations can be full of beauty.
